FOXTROT & ITS COUSIN QUICKSTEP
The Foxtrot was created in 1913 by a popular entertainer named Harry Fox. The reference to the ‘trot’ is something of an enigma as the dance is characterised by a very smooth sauntering step. In social dancing the dance is known as the ‘Slow Foxtrot” to differentiate it from its cousin the Quickstep.
